Biography

Prof. Gilles Jacquemod graduated from ICPI (CPE) Lyon and received MSc degree (DEA) in microelectronics from EcoleCentrale Lyon in 1986. He received the Ph.D. degree in integrated electronics from INSA Lyon, in 1989. From 1990 to 2000, he worked at LEOM, EcoleCentrale Lyon, as an Associate Professor, on analog integrated circuit design and behavioral modeling of mixed domain systems. In 2000, he joined the LEAT laboratory (since 2011, he has been in the EpOC-UNS lab) and the Ecole Polytechnique of Nice-Sophia Antipolis University as full professor. His primary research interests include analog integrated circuit design and behavioral modeling of mixed domain systems. He is also involved in RF design applied to wireless communication. He is President of the CIM-PACA Design Platform. He was advisor of 29 PhD students (among whom there are 6 at current). He is author and co-author of more than 200 journal and conference papers, and holds 2 patents.

Gilles Jacquemod is author and co-authors of more than 200 journal and conference papers, and holds 2 patents. He is reviewer for 11 international journals (Sensors & Actuators,Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing,IEEE Trans. on VLSI Systems,Microelectronics Journal,IEEE Trans. on Circuits and Systems – Part II, Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications,International Journal of Electronics and Communications,International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies,IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and SystemsetIEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits) and is reviewer or TPC member and chairman of several international conference. He is member of the editorial board of Hindawi and guest editor of the Journal of Low Power Electronics. He has co-organized some conferences: SAME (TPC member from 2001 to 2005, and Organization member since 2006), ICECS 2006 (Local arrangement chair), DATE 2007 and 2009 (Local arrangement chair and University booth chair), VARI 2012 (Program chair). He was awarded by 8 best paper or poster awards.
