Biography

Dr. Neng Zhu, received his Ph.D. in Thermal Energy from Tianjin University. He is currently a Professor of Building Environment and Energy Application at Tianjin University. Dr. Chiang is the Head Professor of Building Science and Technology of Tianjin University. In 2003, he and his group found the Building Energy Center of Tianjin University and had been acted as the head of the Center. Now Dr. ZHU is the committee member E1 committee of International Institute of Refrigeration IIR, the senior member of Architectural Society of China, member of Building Environment and Energy Application Council of China.

Education

Sep. 1995 ~ July 1999: Studied in Tianjin University, Phd degree of Thermal Energy.

Sep. 1985 ~ July 1988: Studied in Tianjin University, Master degree of Thermal Energy.

Sep. 1978 ~ July 1982: Studied in Tianjin University, bachelor degree of Building Service.

Research Interests

Professor ZHU's research effort is focused on both building environment and building energy saving, including indoor air environment, thermal comfort, building modeling of energy transfer, thermal modeling of buildings, green building and renewable energy application in buildings.
