Biography

Dr. Wenjun Wang is a professor at School of Computer Science and Technology, Tianjin University. He is also the chief expert of the Major Project of National Social Science Fund, the Associate Director of the Tianjin Engineering Research Center of Big Data on Public Security, and the big data specially-invited expert of Tianjin Public Security Bureau. His main research interests include human behavior dynamics, pattern mining of complex networks and big data processing. He was the principal investigator or was responsible for more than 50 research projects, including the Major Project of National Social Science Fund, the Major Research Plan of the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Science–technology Support Plan Project of China, etc. He has published more than 40 papers on main international journals and conferences, such as Information Sciences, Knowledge-Based Systems, Scientific Reports, SIGSPATIAL International Conference on Advances in Geographic Information Systems and so on.
