In the field of architecture, simulation software is usually used to simulate the actual project, and the simulation resultscould guide the designers and technical personnel to optimize the project.
This course is for students to join in a basic real project with their tutors. Through this course, students should learn the basic concept of their research area, know how to find research papers and related materials. The finial work is depending on the project. The outcome could be various forms, including academic papers, experiment reports, engineering drawing, codes, etc.
The semester project 3 is a training program with a real researching/engineering project. The students should complete a challenging task in order to get training on demanding analysis, project resources management(human resources,finance and technical resources). The whole project should be completed within limiting time (should not shorter than 2 months) as a training on project progress control. The specification of the project should be provided by the students’ intramural academic advisors. The outcome could be various forms, including academic papers, experiment reports, engineering drawing, codes, etc. An elaborate project report should be submitted by each student.
Combined with the training results of previous semester project, the theory of postgraduate teaching is effectively combined with the practice teaching, and it is in accordance with the Tianjin University academic achievements in the postgraduate stage, at the same time, there is a comprehensive summary of scientific research work aiming at the theme of the postgraduate stage.
The course is designed for Engineering Master of Computer Science in TIEI. The course introduces software service concept and the two main methods of service-oriented application development, and discusses the classic web application architecture and Web service composition. Main contents include service- oriented semantics, process, agents, service quality, and service quality credibility. Students will have a preliminary and extensive understanding about Service-Oriented Computing, as well as master the latest trends of development in distributed computing and software.

This course is a required course designed for Engineering Master of Computer Science in TIEI. This course will systematically describe data file processing, the basic knowledge of probability and statistic, parameter estimation, hypothesis testing, variance analysis, regression analysis and so on. The purpose of this course is to equip students with the basic knowledge of data analysis, teach students how to apply scientific statistical theory and methods to understand objective things, enhance student’s ability to analyze and solve practical problems and lay the foundation for other courses. Furthermore, the students will do computer experiments on the learned theoretical knowledge.
Software architecture refers to the high level structures of a software system, the discipline of creating such structures, and the documentation of these structures.
