Biography
Dr. Li Zhe is since 2011 associate Professor at the Institute of Architectural Technology Research, College of Architecture, Tian Jin University, China.
He graduated 2008 as Doctor of Technical Science at Tian Jin University. From 2008 to 2010 he worked as lecturer at Tian Jin University. He is Member of the Great Wall Society of China. He is also Member of the National Key Lab of Ancient Building Surveying Technology, member of expert group of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage.
He is the initiator of "architectural low-altitude multi-data acquisition research " in China (since 2004) and designed and test the first low-vibration helicopter platform for LIDAR in China(max weight:40kg, with turbine shaft engine,2010), carried out the first Vtol-UAV based ancient building surveying experiment in China(the Wooden Pagoda of Ying Xian County,2007), completed the first Aerial Panorama VR System for large-scale architectural heritage in China (the East Tomb of Qing Dynasty,2012).

Advanced UAV Platform develop for LIDAR
Chinese ancient building surveying method and strategy in complex environment
physical and environmental data acquisition with UAVs and intergration with terrain Data
