On July 26, 2021, the "Engineer Speaking" themed activity of Tianjin International Engineering Institute of Tianjin University was successfully held by online Tencent Meeting. This activity invited two alumni of the Institute, Ma Xiaowen and Yang Yi, outstanding graduates of Grade 2017, to be the keynote speakers. Over 40 teachers and students of the Institute gathered on the cloud to talk about the future.

Ma Xiaowen shared her learning experience in Tianjin International Engineering Institute with the students and reviewed her three-year study road. She said that, the institute provided us with high-quality learning resources and her experience of going to France for internship and exchange was still unforgettable. She encouraged the students to study diligently and constantly, practice actively, be good at thinking and dare to challenge!

Yang Yi shared his experience with the students around the contents such as education experience, internship experience and employment. He said that, although the institute has more courses than other schools, it is very helpful for future job hunting. The three-stage internship of engineer also let him gain a lot. By internship and practice, he not only enriched the view of professional field, but also practiced his practical ability and project management ability and defined his future career development planning. He encouraged the students to cherish the present, the time and the situation, make innovation in scientific research and make improvement in practice!

In the free exchange link, the students carried out exchange and active interaction with the two alumni around the topics such as internship and employment. The students were clearer about their own future learning objectives and development directions in combination with experience sharing of alumni.
