For in-depth study of Xi Jinping thought on the Rule of Law and for a deep understanding of the important position of the Civil Code in the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics, in order to promote a series of new provisions, new concepts and new spirit of the Civil Code so as to strengthen the sense of rules, to advocate the spirit of contract and to maintain the public order and good morals as well as to correct the social ethos, build a society of integrity and to promote the core socialist values, we specially invited the judge Cheng Yongzhe of Hongqiao District People's Court to carry out “the Civil Code” special lecture activity.

★ Guest Introduction ★

Cheng Yongzhe, male, a northeasterner, the generation after 1980s, bachelor of management and master of law, joined the court in 2009, and has worked successively in the civil expeditious court, case filing chamber, civil administration office, civil court and family trial court. He has handled a total of more than 1,300 cases since 2015, mainly lecontentieux familial cases. Mr. Cheng is now the vice-chairperson of the 1^st civil court of the Tianjin Hongqiao District People's Court and the second-tier judge. What's more, he has opened a WeChat public account called "The Red Hair Orange".

The topic of this exchange is "the study and discuss on the key legal provisions of the Civil Code Marriage and Family Series”, combining the family cases handled by the keynote speaker in juridical practice, explaining the key provisions of the Civil Code Marriage and Family Series, so as to sort out the development of China's marriage and family law and interpret the hot and difficult issues in family trials.
