Tianjin University energetically carried out education activities such as revision of teaching courseware and concentrated lesson preparation, organized 86 person times from colleges to participate in 5 cultivations. Tianjin University tried to provide opportunities for all employment guidance teams, improving teaching level of 2 compulsory courses, “Career Planning” and “Career Guidance”

Students' career counseling room invited university leaders, department leaders, college leaders, career guidance teachers and well-known enterprise HR who has rich experience of students work as freelance consultants, and optimized personalized guidance for students from multiple perspectives. The counseling room has 9 freelance consultants and 20 senior consultants right now, helping students to develop in their career. The number of consulting students has been up to 100 each term.

Tianjin University invited employers to participate in employment education activities through the student clubs that are university-enterprise cooperated, such as Akzo Nobel and Huawei. The Career Center of Tianjin University expended to 10 affiliated associations and more than 100 members, enriched students' career experience through all kind of forms, such as “Career navigation month”, “The Way to apply for a job” and “Intern meeting”. Tianjin University organized more than 300 students to visit enterprises, such as KPMG, Huawei Beijing Institute, Honghua Group and Chongqing Taiji Group.

 

From April to July 2014, Tianjin University launched a series of employment education activities associating colleges within the University, which aims to explore the employment market energetically, strengthen policy propaganda vigorously, complete employment education work practically and improve employment support elaborately. Tianjin University also organized 69 employment education activities, benefitting more than 8,000 students. Tianjin University version “FeiNiMoShu” recruitment show invited 5 HR from different famous enterprises having intern interview and offering in the site, which acquired consistent high praise from both teachers and students and was reported by several news media.

Shuhu Xiao, director of the Career Center of Tianjin University, had deep communication with students through multiple media such as Wechat and interview, which was highly praised by students.
