Electronics and Communications Engineering

Autonomous Unmanned System

Autonomous Unmanned Systems is a new major direction of the college in 2024, aiming at focusing on the technological innovation and transformation in the field of autonomous unmanned systems, and cultivating professionals with profound theoretical foundation, systematic overall thinking and innovative practical ability, in order to satisfy the national major strategic needs in the fields of intelligent equipment and advanced manufacturing. The specialty integrates multidisciplinary cross knowledge, covering key technologies such as intelligent cooperative optimization and control of various autonomous unmanned systems such as unmanned aircraft, unmanned vehicles, unmanned ships, 3D perception technology, artificial intelligence algorithms, AI-based navigation technology for robots and autonomous systems, robot olfactory sensation, model predictive control, and multi-objective optimization. Meanwhile, the International College of Engineers of Tianjin University focuses on improving students' practical ability and innovation ability according to the characteristics of French engineer cultivation and the requirements of Commission of the Titles of Engineer of France (CTI).

Computer Technology

The Computer Technology Program of International College of Engineers of Tianjin University is oriented to the needs of national economic and social development, and draws on the French model of training engineers to cultivate compound and internationalized high-level engineering technology and engineering management talents with “national sentiment, global vision, innovative spirit and practical ability” in the research and development, design and management of computer-related fields. Talents The students will master solid theoretical knowledge of computer science and technology, have the ability to analyze, design and develop systems using principles, methods and new technologies, and understand the latest developments at home and abroad; they will have strong engineering practice ability, management ability, international vision and innovation ability, and will be able to engage in scientific research, software and hardware system design, project management, software development and system integration in the field of this specialty. The Internet, big data and artificial intelligence will be deeply integrated and widely utilized in the construction industry, which will significantly improve the quality and efficiency of the whole life cycle of buildings (including design, construction and operation and maintenance).
