(Correspondent: Liu Yingtong) On July 10, 2018, Shi Hongda, executive vice dean of postgraduates’ school, Liang Bingchen, vice dean of engineering school, Liu Haibo, director of training office, postgraduates’ school, Qu Haipeng, vice director of computer specialty, information school, Zhang Hesheng, principal of Sino-France program of computer specialty and Mei Tao, secretary of training office, postgraduates’ school of Ocean University of China came to Tianjin International Engineering Institute for survey and exchanges. Shan Xiaolin, party secretary, Guan Jing, vice director of Qiushi Honors College, Tianjin University received their coming at Meeting Room 204, TIEI building and jointly held a discussion.

First of all, Shan Xiaolin, party secretary of Qiushi Honors College gave detailed introduction of organizational chart, curriculum setting, faculty, TIEI enterprise club construction, students’ phases of internship, graduates’ employment situation to the attendees, and briefly explained the preparation stage for the authorized accreditation granted by CTI as well as the process of the accreditation. Then, the delegation raised relevant questions towards the overall construction of TIEI and the accreditation process. After that, Shan gave detailed answers and explanations to the questions and doubts raised by the delegation. At last, the attendees had in-depth discussion about the French engineer training model and the institute-running characteristics of TIEI.

Shi Hongda expressed that the survey this time to TIEI not only helped them better understand the overall construction of TIEI, but also helped them acquire the valuable experience related to CTI accreditation affairs, meanwhile, it also deepens the future exchanges and cooperation between the two schools, so that they achieve a lot and it’s meaningful. He hoped that they can learn more in the aspect of engineering talents training with TIEI; enhance the communication and establish the long-term contacts with TIEI in the future.
