On April 13th, TIEI first French language activity was held at TIET building 211 meeting room. There were about 30 students attending this activity. Despite the extreme weather, nothing can stop the enthusiasm of the students learning French. And we also prepared delicious coffee and desserts for the students to choose.
The speaker of the French language activity is TIEI overseas student Yassine. At the beginning, Yassine encouraged all students to introduce themselves in French. Through the introduction, everybody knew and became familiar with each other. Next, everybody watched the film named《About Time》. It is a romantic movie of the Great Britain, and the movie gave us a really good time. During this time, Yassine talked about the movie with everyone and let them guess the movie result. At the game circle, Yassine taught us playing the game called “Hang the man”, with the topics including fruits and French food. The game not only made everyone better enjoy the French activity, but also helped us know the French words. It makes it happy and easy for us to learn the French knowledge.
And then we watched the movie over. Yassine put forward a question “butterfly effect”, and taught the words pronunciation with some French knowledge. Everybody, around the question“If you had the ability to travel in time, what would you do?”shared their own thoughts with the others. TIEI student WangHaonan, around the topic “through the future”, shared his thoughts with the others. TIEI student XingLin shared her experience of going to France to take the internship. In the end of this activity, everybody hoped that they can have more communication with overseas students and they all look forward to the next French language activities.
