(Correspondent: Hu Shengnan) On September 28th, 2017, Yu Mei, academic vice director of TIEI launched the lecture of degree-granting and academic standards to the grade-2016 and grade-2017 students. Yu explained the two-part content of “degree-granting work” and “academic standards of postgraduates” to the attending students, and gave detailed explanation of the various documents about TJU degree-granting and academic standards of postgraduates.
Next, Yu gave commendation and issued the certificates of honor to the grade-2016 students of specialty computer science. Student Li Shunda got the 1stprize, Dong Yikang, Zhou yangyifan got the 2ndprize, Gao Yinglei, Sun Yidan, Wang Yumeng, Wei Aoxue and Zhou Xuanzi got the 3rdprize.
The mid-autumn festival is coming soon, so that TIEI had elaborately prepared the gifts for the students --- the moon cakes that represent the good will from TIEI, and expressed the best wishes for the festival to the students. Joy showed on the faces of the present students. They feel very much moved.
At last of the lecture, vice director Yu Mei and student instructor Chen Wei started a forum for the grade-2016 students of specialty computer science over the issues they’ve encountered during studies and life. This forum aims to make smooth the mutual exchanges between teachers and students, and tries to help the students solve the problems and difficulties. During the forum, the students raised the obstacles they’ve met at present, and Director Yu expressed that TIEI would reasonably address the issues put forward by the students, and TIEI is right now dealing with some problems and making adjustments. Finally, the forum was ended in warm applause.
