Brief introduction of the lecturer: Qi Juntong, born in 1981, deputy director of Robotics and Autonomic Systems Institute of Tianjin University, professor, doctoral supervisor, visiting researcher of Shenyang Automation Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Hosting over 40 projects including the key projects of National Natural Science Fund, National 863, 973 Projects, he has ever got China Patent Excellence Award, Liaoning Province Scientific Progress 1st Prize, Liaoning Province Natural Academic Achievement 1st Prize, the 1st level of Tianjin “131” Innovative Talents, Technology Youth Talents of Tianjin Innovative Talents Promotion Plan, Leading Talent of Tianjin Binhai New Area Innovation and Entrepreneurial and other awards.

Devoted to the research and products of UAV frontier technology, the R&D system and products of him has created the economic profits of over 300 million RMB, meanwhile, they are applied into the areas of disaster relief, public security, scientific investigation of polar region, reported for 4 times in the News Broadcast of CCTV, making obvious social benefits. The team led by him is selected into “the Top 10 Influential Flying Robot R&D Team Globally”.

Brief introduction of the report content:

This salon firstly is to share the current situation of the UAV technology and industry, to comprehensively understand the developing condition of UAV industry; then to introduce the present latest technologies of UAV field, to let people understand the way through which UAV passes the upgrading of technology to satisfy the demands of production and life; at last to analyze UAV future developing prospective targeting the demands of UAV in fields of military and civil use, trying to discuss how to break the barrier between technological innovations and large-scale application so as to promote the large-scale application of UAV.
