Work Experience

(1) Area Director Business development in Spain: Overseeing eight countries on nine teams throughout Spain in the areas of development, training and evaluations, member care, residency visa laws, finances, and housing contracts. Direct involvement, training, coaching and team building. Project management for physical projects, outreach activities and conferences.

(2) Water and Wastewater Utility Superintendent: overseeing a staff of 13 and the management of the municipal water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, water distribution system and wastewater collection systemB overseeing operators and an annual operations budget of over one million dollars. Public Relations was also a significant part of this position. Networking with other utilities and State authorities to organize quality training events in northern Wisconsin for operators in the region. Overseeing the construction of a new, state-of-the-art membrane filtration water treatment plant.

(3) Water and Wastewater Instructor: Teaching job skills to under privileged youth in water and wastewater treatment procedures, networking with local utilities to provide internship opportunities, assisting in statewide job placement for graduates, and in many cases mentoring these students in work ethics and life skills.

(4) Environmental Scientist Alaska: Developing and delivering training courses for water and wastewater certification and renewalB proposing, planning and eDecuting water treatment pilot studies for public utilities and field sampling programs for water quality testingB conducting sanitary surveys of public water wells throughout Alaska.
