Course Description The theme of this course is "Architectural Design for Single family Homes". Through the design of small homes, students will understand the procedures of architectural design, learn the basic principles and methods of architectural design, acquire the knowledge of structure, construction and materials, and develop creativity, thinking and expression skills. At the same time, cultivate the ability of accurately drawing and making models, master the technical drawing methods of building plane, elevation and section initially, and understand the basic principles of building standards related to course design. |

Prerequisite None |
|||||||
Course Objectives Through the study of this course, students are required to learn basic design methods, understand the main procedures, master the basic principles of architectural design. They also need to learn site analysis, functional classification, crowd organization, structure knowledge, and try to express their ideas in architectural vocabulary. In addition, students are required to learn the skills of drawing building plans, elevations and sections in strict accordance with the requirements of the structural drawing standard. Other relevant building standards also need to be learned. |
