Course Description:

Through the study and practice of the following aspects, this course enables students to master the Building Light Environment& Intelligent Lighting design and analysis methods:

(1) learning methodologyof Building Light Environment& Intelligent Lighting

(2) basic knowledge of photometry

(3) basic knowledge of colorimetry

(4) natural lighting

(5) building lighting

(6) practical case analysis of Building Light Environment& Intelligent Lighting

“Building Physics”

Course Objectives

To enable students to master new methods, new concepts, and new technologies in the field of Building Light Environment & Intelligent Lighting, and be able to complete related design and research work independently or in teams.

Course Syllabus

This course is based on the problem of light environment in intelligent buildings, based on the principle of "saving lighting energy consumption on the basis of meeting the functions of light environment", through the learning method of Building Light Environment & Intelligent Lighting, basic knowledge of photometry, basic knowledge of colorimetry, natural lighting, building lighting, etc. and analyze the actual cases in the fields of cultural heritage lighting, indoor lighting in public buildings, outdoor night lighting in buildings, ecological lighting, etc.
