Course Description

To master new methods, new ideas and new technologiesof prefabricated building designthrough studying and practicing this course.

Prerequisite

This course is based on residential buildings and public buildings in theprefabricated building.

Course Objectives

Let students master the new methods, new ideas andnew technologyofprefabricated building design through the actual cases and have the ability to lead the team and finish the design independently.

Capability Tasks

Descriptions of each level are illustrated below:

CT1: To understand basic science, and to have analytical ability and the ability to integrate related knowledge.

CT2: To apply relevant professional knowledge to the field of science and technology: understanding of the basic concepts and its connotation, application of different methods and concepts which have been learned, capability of judging the scope and limitations of such applications.

CT7: To understand the issues concerned with the environment, especially the concept of sustainable development.

CS1: Aiming at the practical problems in intelligent design, performance design and intelligent construction of prefabricated building, master the prefabricated building design from the aspects of modular building, variable building, digital design and building performance desig;

CS2: Comply with the design principle of "standardization and personalization, comprehensive design of design structure and performance", make full use of design software, computer simulation software and physical models;

CS3: Able to guarantee reasonable design function, safe and reliable structure, comfortable and healthy building performance.
