Course Description The contents include definition of architectural heritage, introduction of examples, and analysis of conservation projects. It proves the close relation between heritage and the contemporary culture, economics, society and people’s daily life. It concludes that conservation of architectural heritage needs civil participation and technical supports from varied disciplines. This course aims at encouraging students to use expertise to serve the conservation work, and promoting interdisciplinary cooperation. | ||||||||||||||

Course Objectives To understand the requirements of protecting historical architectural heritages. To comprehensive master the theoretical methods of how to protect, manage, utilize, and develop the historical architectural heritages.
