(Reporter Peng Yan) On the morning of April 14, 2017, the grand exchange meeting between Tianjin University Research Institute of Architectural Design & Urban Planning (“AATU” for short) and the Tianjin International Engineering Institute was held in the conference room 211 of Tianjin International Engineering Institute.

Executive associate dean of the AATU Yu Jinghai, executive chief engineer of equipment of the AATU Liu Honghai, executive chief engineer of equipment of the AATU Hu Zhenjie, executive chief engineer of equipment of the AATU Sun Shaoguo,assistant dean of the AATU, dean of the technology innovation research institute Zhu Jie, associate dean of the technology innovation research Wang liwen, associate dean of the technology innovation research Yan Xiangyu, director of the intelligence research and development center Wang Yong, director of the BIM design research center Zhang Yixun, vice director of the BIM design research center Xu Da, secretary of the party of the Qiushi Honors College, the International Engineering Institute Shan Xiaolin, vice director of the Qiushi Honors College, associate dean of the International Engineering Institute Wang Wei, party committee office, principal office Wang Chunlin, intelligent building teacher Liu Kuixing, computer teacher Li Xuewei and student representatives attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by the secretary of the party of the Qiushi Honors College Shan Xiaolin.

At the meeting, Wang Wei systematically described the current personnel training and developments of International Engineering Institute in the three aspects: the background of the Chinese-French master project, the training system of the French engineers, the reform effectiveness and the work achievements of the institute. Intelligent building teacher Liu Kuixing introduced the research direction of intelligent building and the training mode of the tutors.

Assistant dean of the AATU, dean of the technology innovation research institute Zhu Jie detailed the situation of AATU, and said the current research direction of the AATU focusing on the application technology, just coincided with the training program of the International Engineering Institute focusing on students' practical ability.

The dean Yu said the AATU, as the practice base for the International Engineering Institute, should give full play to the important role of practice base for the international engineers, provide positions of practice for students, set up professional lectures, as far as possible let the students understand the development of the enterprise and the forefront of the industry. Moreover, AATU is willing to carry out more in-depth long-term cooperation with the International Engineering Institute in excellence engineering of personnel training.
