TIEI delegation visited Polytech Nice-Sophia from May 27th to May 28th to discuss the issues on application of CTI, curriculum, and academic cooperation. The delegation group was comprised by Mr. Ma Jianguo, the dean of School of Electronic Information Engineering, Mr. Luo Zhen, Ms. Wang Chunling the vice directors of Qiushi Honors School, Mr. Liu Gang, the vice dean of Architecture School and the Ms. Xu Yan, the dean assistant of School of Electronic Information Engineering.

Mr. Philippe, the dean of Polytech Nice-Sophia gave a warm welcome to TIEI delegation, and then introduced some details about the CTI application, field study and other requirements. Mr. Luo Zhen introduced our preparation of CTI, and had a deep communication with them. The TIEI delegation also discussed with Polytech Nice-Sophia’s teachers from Economics, Computing and Building on the curriculum and internships and they also visited the labs, study center and some nonprofits programs in Polytech Nice-Sophia.

The CTI certification inspection association will come to TIEI next semester. They will inspect our school construction, curriculum, university-industry cooperation, teaching conditions, teaching management and so on.

CTI is the most authorized architecture association in France, and they inspect the engineers’ academic education and their graduate universities and then give them the certification of CTI. When TIEI passes CTI inspection, the graduates will get both the master degree of Tianjin University and the CTI certification. CTI certification is not only the engineering certification, but is well-known all over the world.
