Internship and Practice | Cloud-based Training to Improve Practical Quality

(Reporter: Shao Chen) For the purpose of offering students abundant opportunities for internship, practice and learning, expanding their international vision, and allowing engineers to have more ways and channels to participate in international practice projects during the holidays in the future, the HydroEurope project, which was organized by participant Professor Philippe Gourbesville, the French dean of TIEI, held a practice training forum from February 14 to 25.

Students in the major of Smart Water Engineering of 2019 and 2020 from TIEI participated in the online training forum. They participated in the thematic discussion online and offline with teachers and students from universities including Université Côte d’Azur, Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus–Senftenberg, Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Newcastle University, Warsaw University of Technology, and Free University of Brussels.

Connecting with the academic community, the business community and the public service sector, and cooperating with the European partner universities, the HydroEurope project conducted in-depth research on specific case analysis of the drainage basin in regions where the project partners are located. Guided by the project, it helps young engineers majoring in the water resources to fully improve their comprehensive abilities and professional skills.
