Research: Green Smart Buildings, Ecological Smart Lighting

 

Liu Gang is the Professor of School of Architecture, Tianjin University. He has held many important positions. He was the assistant to the dean and deputy dean of School of Architecture of Tianjin University, and the assistant to the director of the key laboratory of School of Architecture. He is the vice chairman of China Institute of Illumination, the expert committee member of China Association for Performing Arts and Technology, the member of Indoor Environment Group of China Green Construction Committee, the vice chairman of Tianjin Institute of Acoustics, and the director of Tianjin Institute of Illumination. He is the reviewer for Architectural Journal, Journal of Illumination Engineering and Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics. He is also the editorial board member of Building Energy Conservation and the expert of Ministry of Education.

His research focuses on green smart buildings and ecological smart lighting, and has published more than 60 papers and many patents in his expertise. At the same time, he has won awards for many practical projects and awarded with Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award for multiple times.
