Biography

Dr. Guo Jichang, received his Ph.D. in Signal and Information Processes, from Tianjin University. He is currently a Professor of the School of Electronical and Information Engineering at Tianjin University.

His major academic research includes the enhancement, restoration, and high-level application of low-quality images, and the impact of low-quality image enhancement on high-level visual applications. He published more than 150 refereed journal and conference papers. Dr. Guo has been awarded 12 Chinese patents. He is the header of 2 projects of National 863 Program Projects (The National High Technology Research and Development Program of China), 1 project of 973 Plan Project Subject (The National Basic Research Program), 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and more than 20 other projects.
