Tianjin International Engineering Institute Held Internship Practice Commendation Conference successfully

In the morning of October 30, Tianjin International Engineering Institute (TIEI) held internship practice commendation conference in the conference room of the Medical Engineering Building. Guan Jing, vice director of TIEI, Liu Yang, head of the Institute Enterprise Club, and representatives of the honored students attended the meeting, which was hosted by Liu Yang.

First of all, Guan Jing affirmed the achievements of the internship practice of our students, and expressed warm congratulations to the students who achieved excellent results in this internship. She emphasized that theoretical learning and internship practice are two-way processes, through which students can get a deeper understanding of the actual situation of relevant professions or industries, and further enhance their theoretical knowledge. Meanwhile, they will encounter various kinds of problems in practice progress. In turn, learning with these problems can not only stimulate students' interest in learning, but also deepen their understanding of knowledge.

Subsequently, Guan Jing announced the list of students who were awarded for professional practice in the 2018 school year and awarded honorary certificates to the winners. Three students from the grade 17 of our institute including Xiao Jian won the "Blue Collar Internship First Prize", 7 students including Wang Shanyu won the "Blue Collar Internship Second Prize", and 10 students including Wang Chang won the "Blue Collar Internship Third Prize", three students from the grade16 including Zhang Tianhao, won the “First Prize of Assistant Engineers Internship”, 7 students including Zhang Jiahe won the “Second Prize of Assistant Engineers Internship” and 9 students including Xin Ying won the “Third Prize of Assistant Engineers Internship”.

It is reported that TIEI draws on the training model of French engineers and focuses on cultivating students' innovative practice skills. Students from TIEI are required to complete a one-month blue collar internship, three-month assistant engineer internship and six-month engineer internship. They mainly carried out these phases in the member units of the Institute Enterprise Club, and also have the opportunity to go to Nice, France to complete the engineer internship assignment.

The purpose of this internship practice commendation activity is to encourage our students to innovate, explore and practice actively, and lay a solid foundation for becoming an outstanding engineer and stepping into the society in the future.
