(Correspondent: Liu Zongxin) On June 25, 2018, Guan Jing, vice director, Liu Zongxin, teacher in charge of foreign affairs, of Tianjin International Engineering Institute went to Zhuhai Campus, Sun Yat-sen University to attend the 2018 graduation ceremony held by Sino-French Institute of Nuclear Engineering and Technology. Chen Chunsheng, general secretary of SYSU and other leaders made the speeches successively, and expressed sincere wishes to the graduates of 2018 session.Then was the declaration of the official decision of awarding the nuclear engineer titles. Wang Biao, Chinese dean of SYSU-IFCEN and other leaders presented the awards to the students. The graduates are full of youthfulspirit.

Guan Jing, vice director of TIEI showed honest congrats towards the 2018 graduates of SYSU-IFCEN.She expressed that TIEI always maintains deep friendship with IFCEN, this time she felt very honored and warm to have the chance to attend the IFCEN 2018 graduation ceremony.She gave as present the souvenir of the first university graduation diploma of China to Wang Biao, which is issued by Tianjin University, the first university in modern China, and it is also the governmental document on approving the setting up of institution of higher education that found earliest.Then, under the guidance of Liu Yang, teacher in R&D center, SYSU-IFCEN, TIEI delegation visited the labs located in the chemistry building. Liu Yang gave detailed introduction in the aspects of functions, effects and features of the labs to the delegation.

SYSU-IFCEN was established under the cooperation of SYSU and five famous engineering universities in France, and the latter formed the teaching alliance of French civil nuclear engineers.It adopts the elite training model of French engineers, and held the teaching and scientific activities relevant to nuclear.In the spring of 2017, Wang Biao, Chinese dean of IFCEN ever came to TIEI to share the experience for thearrangement of CTI accreditation.And in the autumn of 2017, the teacher representatives of TIEI also ever went to SYSU-IFCEN to have the survey and discussion.In the field ofengineering education, both sides have established very good communication and exchanges mechanism, and laid very solid foundation for the friendship.
