On October 27th, 2017, TIEI successfully held the defense for the 3rd-phase internship– engineer internship for the grade-2015 students. This defense aims to test the internship achievement of students’ engineer internship, and makes TIEI fully understand the studying results of the students during internship.
For this defense, TIEI invites teachers including Wang Qing, Jin Zhigang and Lv Wei as the reviewers of specialty electronics, Zhou Ting, Guo Juanli and Yan Xiangyu for specialty building and Wang Jianrong, Wang Xin and Wei Jianguo for specialty computer science.
The 3rd-phase internship– engineer internship for grade-2015 students lasted for 6 months, covering the internship exchanges in France, in-depth studying in the famous domestic enterprises, the involvement into scientific and technological programs in the university, and else forms.During the defense, the students exhibited via PPT and described in English the programs they got involved in and the studying situation to the reviewers, then the reviewers asked them questions according to the internship programs they participated in. The answers given by the students won the unanimous praise and high approvals from the reviewers.
Combining with the French engineer training model, TIEI has set the one-month“blue-collar internship” for the first school year, 3-month“assistant engineer internship” for the second school year and 6-month“engineer internship” for the third school year, so as to gradually consolidate students’ knowledge system, and train the students’ ability for launching workindependently step by step, as well as help them understand the frontier trends within the specialty field.This defense means that the engineer internship for TIEI grade-2015 students has come to a successful end.Under the win-win cooperation between university and enterprise, TIEI will train more and more excellent engineering leading talents for the nation.
