At 6:00 pm, September 14th 2017, TIEI held the 2018 Recruitment Publicity Conference for Students Recommended for Exemption of Examinations in Classroom B-415, Building 26 in Weijin campus of Tianjin University. Yu Mei, academic vice director of TIEI, Liu Gang, specialty principal of architecture and civil engineering, Su Yuting, specialty principal of electronics and communications engineering, and the teachers of teaching affairs management in TIEI attended this lively conference.
Firstly, Yu Mei, academic vice director of TIEI, gave detailed introduction about the developing history, institute-running mode of TIEI, the international authorized accreditation of CTI to TIEI, the overall faculty level of the institute, the unique training system of “1+2+3+4”, the training attainment of the students, the future developing plans of TIEI and the students’ recruitment situation to the students attending the conference, which fully embodied the high-level, international characteristics of institute-running of TIEI and its excellent developing vision. Meanwhile, vice director Yu Mei emphasized the gold content of the French engineer diploma issued by CTI achieved by TIEI. She expressed that TIEI is able to provide more opportunities of international exchanges and contacting with the enterprises to the students, and to fully train the innovative hands-on ability of the students. Finally, the students attending the conference were warmly welcome and thanked.
Wang Wenjie, teacher in charge of teaching affairs of TIEI emphasized the detailed method and procedures of applying for TIEI as well as the recruitment schedules for students recommended for exemption of examinations. Then, Su Yuting, specialty principal of electronics and communications engineering, and Liu Gang, specialty principal of architecture and civil engineering introduced the overall situation of their specialties respectively. They also gave explanations to the students attending the conference about the research direction and recruitment information of their specialties.
All students were involved actively in the last stage of conference – questions and answers section. The teachers answered the questions raised by the students and solved their doubts according to their own situation. The 2018 recruitment publicity conference for students recommended for exemption of examinations of TIEI in Weijin campus was brought to a successful close.
