(Correspondent: Li Yuan) To do well the graduate students’ recruitment publicity work of TIEI, enhance candidates’ understanding towards Tianjin University and TIEI, on June 18th, Shan Xiaolin, party secretary, Wang Wei, administrative vice director, specialty teachers and administrative staff of TIEI attended the graduate students’ recruitment publicity conference organized by graduates recruitment office of Tianjin University.
Graduate school of Tianjin University introduced the developing situation of Tianjin, developing history, scientific research and humanity overall situation, graduates’ education, scholarship and subsidies, recommended-exemption policies, unified exams of Tianjin University to the students attending the conference. Then, the representatives of the schools gave the brief introduction of the schools and specialties. Shan Xiaolin, party secretary of TIEI also introduced the training system, specialty direction planned to recruit students, characteristics of institute-running and else information to the students, encouraging the students of the relevant specialties to actively apply for TIEI. Students of the Northwest actively consulted the specialty teachers from our institute during the face-to-face communication link with our institute, and the teachers patiently answered the questions raised by the students, solved their doubts towards the recommended-exemption and the postgraduates entrance exams, helped them better understand the relevant matters about the application. The specialty teachers of TIEI also gave the material investigation for students with the resumes and materials to come for applying for the recommended-exemption opportunities, and organized the on-site interviews. All this enhanced the candidates’ confidence towards applying for TIEI.
